St. Patrick’s Day Five Shamrocks & Felt Board Rhyme
Five green shamrocks growing by my door
Little bunny ate one so now there are four.
Four green shamrocks hiding behind a tree.
Little bunny ate one so now there are three.
Three green shamrocks playing peek-a-boo
Little bunny ate one so now there are two.
Two green shamrocks sitting in the sun,
Little bunny ate one so now there is one.
One green shamrock laying in the sun.
Little bunny ate one so now there are none.
This is a fun flannel board rhyme. You will need five shamrocks and a felt board. Provide each of the children with five shamrock puppets {from art time today}. Have the children put one shamrock down and count the shamrocks that are left after the bunny eats one.
