Toddlers Playing
As you enter my home, you will first walk into my porch. This is where each of the children has a cubby to keep his/her coats, mittens, boots or any other personal items plus this is also where they will place their art projects, worksheets, coloring pages and other take home activities that they complete each day.
As you leave the porch and enter the front of my home, you will walk into the "Infant & Toddler Area". This room has been set up with the babies and toddlers in mind. The older children take delight in playing out here too with the older babies and toddlers.

Daily Outtings
We have baby swings, bouncy seats, and portable cribs for the infants in our care. Infants positions are changed often throughout the day to help them get plenty of stimulation. Babies are talked to, sung to and rocked each day. All babies are held when they drink from their bottles or anytime they need to snuggle. We try to provide a lot of one on one care with the infants which in turn helps them feel safe and secure.
Each infant or toddler under 18 months old is assigned his/her own portable crib to sleep in. No child shares the same crib or blankets. The older children have cots that they sleep on. We take all the children out daily for walks or outside onto the deck or fenced in play area to enjoy the fresh air each day.

Fun Cube
The children are playing with one of our new toys. It is a large cube that they can place blocks into, or you can place one of the blocks onto the top of the cube and it will tell you what item is inside the block and then sing a song. The "cube" is a very interesting toy for the children to explore, it has different activies on each side plus on the top, all which use the blocks that came with the cube.

Letters
The toddlers are playing with letters. The letters can push into the top of the desk. They have fun sticking up the letters and then taking them down. The older children have fun with the desk too, they like to look for the letters in their names and spell out their names and their freinds names too, onto the top of the desk.

Time
Calendar
We start our morning program with circle time. During circle time we discuss with the children the weather outside, what day it is, and go over that day's theme. We start with the weather chart and then move onto the calendar. After the children place the date on the calendar, we sing the 7 days of the week song and then we start our morning circle time activity.
